Low Noise Clippers Instructions.
Congratulations on your purchase! Here is some information to get you familiar with our clippers. Please read each step. If you have any question you can always pm.
Step 1: Check that you have Clippers, Battery, charger and 4 guards.
Step 2: Charge your clippers for 5 hours. Never charge it for more than 10 hours.
Step 3: Practice putting the combs on the clippers. You should have 4
3mm, 6mm, 9mm and 12mm
I always recommend to use the biggest guard. (12 mm on setting 2.0 mm)
Step 4: Hold your clippers with one hand and with the other turn the blade right or left. Please, I recommend to use the biggest guard (12 mm) use (2.0 mm) settings. Once you are more comfortable you can work your way down to 9 mm and 6 mm.
Tip: Start shaving your dog with the grain. If it seems like you are not shaving any hair, use the next guard down 9 mm or 6 mm you can also adjust the blade to 0.8 mm but you will notice a bit more vibration and a louder sound. If you want do a really sort cut you can always go against the grain. Please be very careful and always check your blade. We don't want to burn our fur-babies.
Step 5: Oil Before each use.
Apply a drop of oil to each corner of the moving blade and a few drops in the middle, into the blade teeth.
Turn the clipper on and let it run for a few seconds to get an even spread.
Dab any excess oil and you’re good to go.
* Be careful not to apply too much oil, as this can attract a lot of dust, dirt and hair clippings. This will turn into a sludge and clog up the blade.
Make sure your dog is comfortable with the process. Do not rush anything. Don't forget to reward for positive behavior.
Wash your dog. Give your dog a bath and let him dry thoroughly before you clip him. Avoid clipping a dirty dog if at all possible. The dirt will clog the clippers and make your job very difficult.
